Patent family 7 – ”Method in a two-stroke engine and two-stroke engine” (Publication: WO 2019/078772)

This invention concerns a method for reducing emissions from a two-stroke engine, and a
two- stroke engine operating according to this method. This type of engine is mostly used in boat engines, motorcycles/mopeds and in large ships. Just like in patent family 5-6, a freely controllable valve is used, but apart from this, patent family 7 is unrelated to the other patent families.

The patent family includes a granted patents in Brazil, EPO, India, Japan, South Korea, Sweden and the USA. Pending patent applications in China and Mexico. A positive ”International Search Report” has been issued, i.e. the invention is considered patentable.
