Freely controllable valves
Patent family 1 – “Electrically activated valve actuator for an internal combustion engine” (WO 2019/245450)
This invention concerns developments in freely controllable valves, which is one of the techniques used in patent family 5 to achieve lowered emissions, and which is also in patent families 6 and 7. Patent family 1 thus complements families 5–7. Advantages include that the technology is simple in its construction, energy efficient and is capable of quickly opening and closing an engine valve.
The patent family includes a granted patent in China, EPO, Sweden and the USA, patent applications in japan and Mexico which are soon granted and pending patent applications in Brazil, India, South Korea. A positive ”International Search Report” has been issued, i.e. the invention is considered patentable. The EP patent will be validated in Great Britain and Spain and be registered as a Unitary Patent. (updated 17 okt, 2024)
